Eduardo Glicerio Romero Naupay was a Peruvian Facebook aficionado who became nationally praised for becoming The Champion of Perú as revenge for getting kicked out of his own hot dog stand.
Background
Ed Romero had a tough childhood, as his dad had become An Hero when he was young. To cope with the pain, he served his time in the Marines - where he learned how to use guns - and later worked as a security guard, faking a certificate to get to own firearms.
Ed, who worked as a hot dog vendor and was super interested in guns and paganism, would usually share posts on Facebook about how his mental health went to shit, along with some sexy pics of his illegal guns. Why didn't the party van arrest this potential mass shooter who was spitting out red flags everywhere? Simple: Because this is the third world, where the cops do not give a singular fuck about what you do online. He might as well have streamed his attack and I highly doubt they'd care even then. Anyway, he would also post about how much he hated feminism, since it made him feel like an emasculated little boy in a world run by women. He was also a regular poster in the Facebook group Legión Holk - the same group Federico Guevara Elizondo was in.
His friends nicknamed him as El Gringo and Bin Laden due to his open love of guns.
Attack
Remember how I said he was a hot dog vendor? Well, as it turns out, he forgot to renew his loiscence, so local municipal workers constantly bitched and moaned at him to remove his little-kart, until - on February 17, 2017, he got fed up with them, pulled out his carry-on piece and straight-up capped one of those niggas in the ass, killing one and gravely wounding another. At this point, Ed realized one thing - he wasn't gonna go down without a fight. He geared up with his two pistols (with tons of ammunition bought from local narcos) and decided to make peace with his online friends.
Our Hero of the Day then runs to a different shopping mall and grabbed a pistol in each hand, popping a cap in some old boomer lady's ass, TWO security guards, and some loli who was being used as a human shield. Cops were quick to arrive to the scene and finally put an end to the carnage by sniping his pigeon-eatin' ass.
Legión Holk members praised him for his attack, citing him as "the Peruvian Fede". Their group would later get banned for this.
