Aubrey Drake Graham✡ is a 39-year-old "rapper" from the hellscape known as Toronto, Canæda. He is also known by his fans as The 6 God. However, you might know him as "that faggot from Degrassi who thinks he's a thug because he can "rap" and is also part black". Drake is also often the target of "Drake the type of nigga" memes, such as "Drake the type of nigga to get offended over an Encyclopedia Dramatica article made about him".
Beef with Kendrick
Since August 2013, Kendrick Lamar and Drake have been in a rap feud that’s got more twists than a soap opera. Things really heated up in March 2024 when Lamar jumped onto Future and Metro Boomin's track "Like That." Fans quickly speculated that it was a dig at Drake and J. Cole for their song "First Person Shooter."
Drake didn’t take it lying down. He fired back with "Push Ups" and the now-vanished "Taylor Made Freestyle." But Lamar wasn’t done yet; he hit back with "Euphoria" and "6:16 in LA." After "6:16 in LA," Drake dropped "Family Matters," where he made some serious accusations against Lamar, claiming he was mistreating his partner, Whitney Alford, and that one of Lamar’s kids might actually belong to his buddy, Dave Free. Ouch.
Lamar responded with "Meet the Grahams," turning the heat up even more. He called Drake a sexual predator and claimed he ran a sex trafficking operation from his Toronto mansion, nicknamed the Embassy. Oh, and he also mentioned a secret daughter.
Then, on May 4, 2024, Lamar surprised everyone by dropping "Not Like Us," just a day after "Meet the Grahams." The only hype beforehand came from Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, who tweeted, "Dot, I see dead people" right before the song dropped. The cover art? An aerial shot of Drake’s mansion, dotted with 13 red dots that represent registered sex offenders.
As with his previous tracks in this rivalry, "Not Like Us" was a YouTube exclusive at first, only to be released on streaming platforms by Interscope Records hours later. Lamar even lifted copyright claims temporarily, letting anyone use the song, even for commercial gigs. By May 10, 2024, Universal Music was pumping the track on Italian radio. And on July 11, 2024, a mashup of the studio version and a live performance from the Pop Out: Ken & Friends event started rocking California airwaves.
As a result, Drake filed a LOLsuit, only to expose himself further as a certified lover boy, certified pedophile.
