Everybody is on the internet these days and everybody including your grandma can be an internet killer because of it, but somebody had to of done it first before Craigslist made this shit mainstream. That man is John Edward Robinson, the first internet killer. Robinson was a pioneer in his craft, hooking up with freaky women from BDSM chatrooms on the internet when Usenet groups and obsolete chatrooms reined supreme, before every man had a personal computer in his home and an iPhone in his pocket. This is the story of the Internet Slave Master.
Robinson started his life of mischief as a prolific career scammer, forger and embezzler before becoming a career murderer. Using these skills, he could become anyone, which became instrumental to his murderer methodology. In 1984, he would hire 19-year-old Paula Guylene Godfrey to work on one of his phony businesses, whom he would make into his first known victim. No trace of her body was ever found. Robinson killed two more women through out Kansas and Missouri in the 1980's. Being a shrewd businessman, Robinson made sure to turn his future murders into get-rich-quick schemes too. In 1985, he killed a 19-year-old homeless mother while posing for a fake charity using the moniker James Osborne, and sold her baby to his brother and sister-in-law who didn't know how babby is formed, collecting $5,500 in "legal fees" for the adoption.
Throughout 1987 and 1993, Robinson was in prison for fraud-related charges and parole violations. during his stay, he rizzed up the fucking prison librarian who left her fucking husband to be with him after he was released from prison. Her remains were never found and Robinson, always a shrewd businessman, continued to collect her alimony checks from her mother after the fact.
After getting out of prison for fraud-related reasons, Robinson decided to check out what this "internet" shit was all about and realized its potential for anonymous sex and sadomasochism. Robinson adopted the moniker Slavemaster and became engaged with BDSM groups.
In 1994, Robinson lured in his first two victims from the internet: 45-year-old Sheila Faith and her 15-year-old retarded, wheelchair-bound daughter, Debbie Faith. Posing as a wealthy businessman and philanthropist, Robinson promised to make all her troubles go away if she moved in with him and became her sub, because nothing says trustworthy like a sex-crazed pervert that you met on an online BDSM forum. Both Sheila and Debby were added to his barrel collection.
At this point Robinson was becoming somewhat of a BDSM microcelebrity. He continued to murder two more women who he met online, including a 21-year-old Polish immigrant who signed a 115-item slave contract with him that gave Robinson almost total control over every aspect of her life, including her bank accounts—GOD DAMB! These BDSM freaks are making this way to easy for him—and a 27-year-old nurse that wanted to be his sex slave.
But like all the Greats, he was starting to get sloppy. His name showed up in a lot of missing person reports and was beginning to attract attention from the Kansas and Missouri authorities. Finally, by the turn of the millennium, Robinson would have his last stint with a woman who filed sexual battery charges against him while another woman charged him for stealing her sex toys. This finally gave authorities a justification to raid his base where they found several bodies hidden in chemical drums.
Prison Life
For his crimes, Robinson was awarded the death sentence, making him the first person to be awarded the death sentence in Kansas since its reinstatement in 1994, although since NOT A SINGLE execution has been carried out in the state to this day, his punishment will likely remain functionally a life sentence. Even though he is locked up, this isn’t necessarily the end of his internet presence, nor the end of his internet trolling. As late as 2014, Robinson has been producing snarky boomer comics that were shared online via a program called Windows on Death Row which hosts a site that showcases art made by death row inmates.
