ALERT: THIS IS A FORCED MEME
6-7 will be posted by the same
unfunny newfag until you like it.

6-7 pronounced Six-Seven (also written as 6-7, 67, 6 7 and 6,7) is what Dictionary.com calls Brainrot slang because of the supposed deterioration of a person's mental state from consuming too much low-quality online content. What they're saying is, you get dumber every time you post a Meme.

(6-7) has an abundance of meanings and can be used in differing situations, much like the word Fuck that can be used as a verb, noun, adjective, adverb, interjection or just as a situational phrase like saying "Fuckkkkkkk" when you walk into a room filled with dead bodies and you know that the psycho killer is standing behind you.

6-7 is also used as celebratory that is used when someone says the numbers 6 and 7 in different ways such as using 6 and 7 following one another in a sentence, when the number 67 is used or in complex numbers like 4,367. The rule is that 6 and 7 must follow each other.

6-7 is meant mostly to be a word that has no real meaning and is said mostly to confuse adults; It also confuses out-of-touch old-ass people like yourself, because you're most likely so out-of-touch that you won't get the joke (it means absolutely nothing!)

(6-7) can be used in a situation where it can be interpreted in many different ways like, "I heard that your sister is so (6-7)."

Are we saying that your sister is slutty, Ugly, disfigured, rat-faced, retarded, fat or a "crazy-ass, incestuous bitch, that would fuck you but Grandpa doesn't go soft when he's up inside her"? We know your sister's reputation and it's all of the above. We would've put words like "pretty" or "smart" in there but we've seen that genetic freak that you call your sister and, damn - God wasn't all that friendly when he made her.

Now before you go fishing for compliments, "She does give 6-7 head."

Origin

Most people will claim that the expression 6-7 comes from the song Doot Doot (6 7) by rapper Skrilla (Powerword - Jemille Edwards) where in it, he says, "Shooter stay strapped, I don't need mine/ Bro put belt right to they behind/ The way that switch brrt, I know he dyin' (Oh my, oh my God)/ 6-7".

Know Your Meme, not to ever be trusted, has said that the popularity of 6-7 exploded when the 6-7 kid video started to trend on sites like, YouTube, Twatter, TikTok or any website that supports video. In the video Maverick Trevillian, acts like an autist having a spaz-fit as he waves his arms up and down while screaming (6-7) over and over again.

Yes, Maverick felt the need to dox himself because he wanted to feel important and be seen as the creator of this meme. Like the Star Wars Kid, Vicki Sigh or Chris Chan, he'll regret this decision when he starts getting knocks on the door at all hours of the night from "fans" because he felt the need to become internet-famous.

6-7 and Maverick's hand gestures were later copied by basketball players as a sign for other players, on their team, to recognize a good play.

Then there's Gen Alpha- having given up their last brain-cell to the internet, because their parents see the internet as a baby-sitter. Some will spend their days watching hentai videos of silicon-tittied Japanese wimmins screaming out, "6-7, 6-7" as they are fisted by the flat-chested, but cute, just-turned-18 3 minutes before they started taping, 5 foot nothing Chinese girl that's wearing a sailor suit for the specific fetish video.

Losing their social and language skills to simple acronyms and phrases because they're the dumbest generation to walk on this Earth, (6-7) can't even be seen as something like 1337 speak from the 2000s because that could be translated and was mostly used to bypass censor filters on websites when users wanted to share |°0Я/\/.

People like Linguists, Lexicologists and Dictionary Editors, that have to justify a $400,000 PhD because they bought into a narrative that one needs a college degree to be successful in life and are pissing the bed every night because the High School pothead is a plumber and makes more than they do in a year because they aren't even the right kind of Doctor that comes with a prescription pad and a pen, have given the over educated answer that, "It was created as another one of the many slang expressions that exist and aren't meant for adults or the older generation to understand."

Abso-fucken-lutely Brilliant. Don't let that origin get you down, there are also teachers that believe that it came about as a secret code word for God-knows-what. Said teachers live in a constant state of paranoia, believing their students are plotting something against them.

Meaning

Fuck if we know because it changes from group to group.

Some people, totally missing the mark of 6-7 being a Meme, wanting people to look at them in awe as they give over-explained answers, will claim that 6-7 is a sort of short hand for a 10-67 or a dead body, because in Doot Doot (6 7) Skrilla the Gorilla says, "I know he dyin' (Oh my, oh my God)/ 6-7."

Don't listen to these people because they're either basement-dweller types or they're the functioning autistics that have pieced together a passable amount of social skills and are capable of having a job and an apartment but they send their laundry home to their mother every week because they have to have ironed underwear.

To push the envelope further, the PhDs say that (6-7) is a form of babyspeak that really has no interpretation and is meant, only, to draw attention to the speaker. Unless you are a part of their community, they say, you aren't meant to understand it. This is from someone that spent 8 years and $400,000 for a PhD and that's the best answer that we can get. These are the same people that ask the question, "Why do people hate the educated?"

Another PhD, Steve Johnson, director of lexicography for the Dictionary Media Group at IXL Learning, gives us a little bit more saying, (6-7), "It’s part inside joke, part social signal and part performance." Once again, $400,000 and 8 years in school just to give a brilliant way of saying, "I don't know."

Some have said it mean's "I don't know" or is slowly being made uncool because it is being used by the goth and emo kids, along with the hand gestures, to signify the response of "Whatever,". Unfortunately even if the Saracastic tone is coneyed to the listener, the Emos and Goths have another reason to to cut themselves because they come off as Loser kids that are trying to look cool by copying the popular kids.

South Park, usually having a good grasp on current events and trends because they hire recent Professional Writing 101 graduates as unpaid interns (who will be flipping burgers once their internship is over) probably gives the best answer in that it has no meaning what-so-ever and that it's like a college fraternity's drinking game where everyone cheers and does a shot when Homer Simpson says "Doh". Like college frat-houses, children are doing the same but picking the numbers 6 and 7 to be their reason to cheer. (6-7) also serves as a joke that is meant to confuse adults because of it's ever-changing definition and use as a slang word or for the $400,000 PhDs, a colloquial expression.

Think of it as being like how the Smurfs talk, where they use the word "Smurf" to replace a word. In jokes, it is either meant to be understood or to confuse the listener. "Dude! I Smurfed Smurfette so hard in her Smurf that I bet she could taste my Smurf." Or, "Did you stay in your room all day and Smurf?"

A more contemporary and adult way of explaining (6-7) would be like the using of the word Schwifty in the Rick and Morty song "Get Schwifty". It insinuates it meaning something, but it is never defined.

An even better way of explaining (6-7) and that it has no concrete definition is that the term is used like the old, "Word of the day joke" where everyone claps and cheers because someone says the numbers 6 and 7 in a sentence.

Teacher: Please turn to page 67. Classroom cheers!!

Dictionary.Com's Word Of The Year

Old people are shitting their Depends diapers while the out-of-touch parents are crying out, "When did a number become a fucking word?"

The Dictionary.com nerds defended their choice by saying, "We pick the word of the year based on what words had the most impact on our conversations. Now shut the fuck up retard because the closest you've ever come to a book is using one as a replacement for a broken couch leg."

Undeterred by Dictionary.Com's resolution to keep (6-7) as its word of the year, the cockroaches are coming out from under the refrigerator to voice their displeasure. One moron said, "Having a number as word of the year is like having a tranny named woman of the year," ignorant of the fact that Bruce Jenner received such an award from Glamour Magazine in 2015.

And one out of touch, uneducated loser said, "Since when is a number a word?; God I hate kids!," not realizing that numbers like 1, 3, or 5 serve as words too and can be looked up in a dictionary.

Schools Punishing Kids For 6-7

Tired of their classrooms being disrupted and news sites not wanting to say what schools they are for fear that their school website will be trolled, some schools have resorted to detentions and suspensions in the hopes of stopping the (6-7) disruption.

One teacher, Jennifer Trujillo, is on record as stating "You don’t realize how many times you say 67 or 6-7 in your daily life until you have a bunch of middle-schoolers to remind you."

Many teachers try to avoid the words "6" and "7" or "67", but since they can't predict when they'll use the numbers 6 or 7 after one another they just ban the phrase completely and punish students for cheering when any form of 6 or 7 has been said. Ironically they are the reason why they wonder why children have no respect for the older generation.

They claim that it is a disruption to their classrooms and are sending students to their school principal demanding that they be punished as an example for the classroom. This is a reason why some children end up despising school because, even if the whole class responds to (6-7), teachers will pick the student they dislike the most to name ringleader - even if it was their straight-A student that initiated it.

Surprisingly, being cooler than other teachers, there are some Mathematics teachers that work the numbers 6 and 7 into their problems to keep the class interesting. As can be expected, there are your Pole Stuck Up Their Ass, century-old teachers claiming this is disrupting their classes and that learning shouldn't be fun.

6-7 At In-N-Out Burger

Not just content having chosen a name that Alex DeLarge uses as a euphemism for sex in A Clockwork Orange, the heart-attack-in-a-bag restaurant In-N-Out Burger is tired of teenagers pulling out phones as the 67th order is called out, just to further the cancer killing the internets by uploading another unfunny group-think video of people cheering and applauding once order number 67 is called out.

Some managers, being the ass-eating dickheads that they are, have forbidden their employees from calling out the number 67, and tell the customers that have the 67th order that they will announce their order by saying something like "Person that asked for a water cup."

This isn't the first time that In-N-Out Burger has banned the using of certain numbers in their store. Some prudish managers avoid calling out the digit 69, because it reminds them of the sex that other people are having as said managers are staying home with Vaseline and a Rei Ayanami body pillow.

420 is another number that some In-N-Out Burger managers forbid employees from calling out. The most obvious reason is for its connections to marijuana and stoner culture; "Order 420" also gets a minority of people that will yell "Happy birthday Adolf" if the date is April 20th; These same overweight, mutt-gened Nazi losers may even do a Nazi Salute while yelling "Sieg Heil" once "Order 420" is called.
