Polybun (Powerword: Benjamin Jeffrey Smith) is a babyfur turned Kyle Rittenhouse wannabe from Portland, Oregon, known for his particularly violent and unhinged tantrums. His Inkbunny accounts were banned and IP blocked in 2012 by moderators for abusive comments and he was banned from many of Oregon’s furry conventions and events for his behavior, including a time when he was kicked out of a house party for brandishing a knife and threatening to kill somebody because they took a picture of him. Literally nobody within the furry community who were aware of him were surprised to hear that he would go on to become the perpetrator of a mass-shooting. Aside from being the William Atchison of the furry fandom, he is also noted for making his mark in furry history as one of the original founders of the first #babyfur IRC channel on Furnet. His fursona is a juvenile yellow rabbit and he was personally described as an edgelord and an epic troll by many, but no amount of infantilistic escapism could subdue the bestial spirit of hatred that was festering in his soul. Come the period of COVID-induced madness, Benjamin Smith reportedly joined the White Rose Telegram channel, a trolling organization known for spreading COVID misinformation and cliché Qanon-style conspiracy theories. According to his roommate, he got angrier and more rightwing over the years preluding the Normandale Park shooting and was slipping “further and further down this alt right rabbit hole”.

The Shootout
On February 19, 2022, Ben Smith entered Normandale Park, Portland, equipped with a .45 caliber handgun and the intent to kill some commie bastards. During this time, their was an ongoing riot over the death of some nigger who wasn't George Floyd. Upon arrival, Benjamin began shouting death threats just as he had done so a thousand times on the internet before. He soon amassed a crowd trying to deescalate the situation before firing 8 shots into the crowd, hitting five. He only managed to get one kill and unlike his idol, Kyle Rittenhouse, he wasn't even acting in self-defense; and what's more? He wasn't even shooting at protestors, just traffic safety volunteers. Benjamin's shooting spree was swiftly concluded when an actual protester thereafter shot him in the hip with a model which evidence suggests was a rifle of some kind, leaving him wheelchair bound. Now he gets to shit his diapers all day long while staff change him. Furries just keep winning.
One victim later died in 2024 due to injuries sustained from the attack, thus raising Ben's kill count to two.
Benjamin will now be rotting behind a prison cell for at least 55 years to life. Imagine his shock when he wasn't let scotch free like his idol, Kyle Rittenhouse.

Reactions
The Portland Police Bureau tried to cover up the incident by publishing misinformation about the attack. They falsely claimed that Benjamin Smith was a homeowner and that he shot at armed protesters. It was only until three years after the fact that the police chief issued a formal apology because he was too ashamed to admit that he was covering up for a babyfur degenerate and not the based property defender he initially thought he was.
Following the attack, a few furries stepped up to voice their opinions on the matter and recollect their experiences with the individual. Rolling Stone even published an article collecting the responses of a few furry big-shots concerning the incident.
