The Australian Shitposter (colloquially nicknamed "Bruce") is a meme depicting the Australian users of 4chan, who, despite making up less than 15% of the population, commit 90% of all shitposting. Due to the fact that Australia is located in a different timezone than where all the other anons live, Australians are left free to shitpost while all the moderators are asleep. Needless to say, the Aussies' superior taste of freedom has led to some controversy, and have thus been blamed for ruining 4chan and consequently have become moot's archnemeses. The Final Solution to Australian shitposting is to hide Australian threads, ignore Australian posts, and not reply to Australian posters. This undesirable Aussie has a lesser known Canadian counterpart/variant known as the Leafposter, who materialized after some speculation that Canadians might have been the true shitposters all along. With leafposters, they cannot be ignored but must be raked to death on the Day of The Rake.

On March 15, 2019, the Australian Shitposter announced that he was going to stop shitposting and travel to New Zealand to execute one last effortpost in real life. The effort post paid off as the result was one of the lulziest things viewed in the history of the internet. His gameplay footage can be viewed below. Rumor has it he is still shitposting and pissing off moot from behind a prison cell.
