In the world of Kpop, there are multiple boy bands, sometimes popular than whatever girl band they usually come up with. We mean "sometimes", because usually the girl group is popular than the last.

And then there's these guys....

Prior to being so popular

We don't really know what happened before these guys got popular. All we know was that one of them was an actor, the other doing a "mixtape" of sorts.

How they got popular

Some people at BigHit Entertainment thought that taking seven people with (almost) little to no experience in the music industry would be a good idea. So that's what they did. And wouldn't you know it, they somehow became a huge hit.

Members

There's seven look-a-likes, all with virtually the same personality and looks. If you really want to see the difference, we suggest watching a video, because lord knows Wikipedia ain't gonna do shit.

BTS in America

Over here, BTS has become a worldwide sensation. They are more popular than American boy bands, so much so that they played songs live twice on Television and are frequently subjected to interviews.

Fandom

The ARMY (acronym of "Adorable Representative MC for Youth") is what they are called. They are a bunch of normalfag millennials and 16-year-old girls who tend to ship one member with each other, and constantly fight with one another; they're basically a typical fandom: shit.

ARMY can be spot easily on sites such as Tumblr and Wattpad, where they post smut fan fiction stories in which the reader is subject to race-mixing with a certain BTS member. ARMY are also weeaboos who want to transform into azns so they can date one of the members.
