Signaling



Signaling is how members of one culture broadcast their presence to other members of that culture within the vicinity. Similar to a secret handshake, it's an action or sensory cue that serves to authenticate the signaler so that they can be implicitly trusted.

- Guy Fawkes
- Owning a t-shirt that just says "Hacker" on it
- Making spoopy YouTube videos
