Over 500 games were removed from Steam's and Itch.Io's search engines because of content that Collective Shout deemed dirty. Games that include Women that are asking for it, award-winning games about a Teen girl's angst about her body-image and America's Diet culture by slant-eyed game developer Jenny Jiao Hsia and LGBTQ+ games where you hang out around elementary schools and try to pick up little boys.
Groups like 4chan's Fight Fire With Fire claim that this is a slippery slope where people are petitioning payment methods like Mastercard, Visa, Paysafe Limited, Discover, and Japan Credit Bureau to use their power to refuse to pay for digital material that people, basically small grass-roots groups like Collective Shout find distasteful violates America's First Amendment. They say that if someone wants to play a 12-year-old boy going fagging in subway bathrooms to get their dicks sucked by older men for quick money, it's their right!
No Mercy
No Mercy is a 3D choice-driven adult Visual Novel, or rather a video game picture book where people have to advance the story or pictures by making choices. It recently has received much attention because the game contains Rape, incest and male domination. Following complaints to remove the game, Zarat Games posted a letter describing rape and Incest as disgusting but normal kinks that we all think of like we were your sick fucking ass, hiding in your basement, thinking about how you can get your 12-year-old neighbor's son to come over without no one noticing.
It was banned in Great Britain, Ausfalia and Canada because of the UK's boring Online Safety Act that says that the internets has to be kid-friendly in these countries.
After being banned in Great Britain, Australia and Canada the game made news; The group Collective Shout was formed to get the game banned from sites like Steam because kids might have heard about it because of all the news, steal their parent's credit card, buy it and play it.
Collective Shout, along with 70,000 signatures on an online pettion demanded that payment processers like Visa and Mastercard not do business with online gaming sites like Steam, Itch.Io and other storefronts until No Mercy and 500 other sick, sick titles were taken down.
No Mercy and 500 other titles were taken down from Steam, Itch.Io and other storefronts in the USA - thus showing that old people and stay-at-home-moms are dangerous when it comes to politics, as they have too much time on their hands.
The Fishing Net
Developers are claiming that many of the games being banned by Steam and Itch.Io are not obscene. They are just misunderstood. As with any argument that includes censorship, predictably, the first to the Fire to argue their unwanted existence were the estrogen girls saying, "There's always women who hate women in every era. Comparing suffrage to porn video games is hilarious."
In defense of these estrogen queens, developer Robert Yang took to the gay Stage and commented that a Holocaust against LQBTQ people was starting. Jenny Jiao Hsia said that protecting real women and girls has been the go to excuse for every anti-porn organizations going back to the Greeks. She commented on her game Consume Me which is about girls thinking that they're fat and should accept themselves as they are. Hsia said that groups like Collective Shout think that they're protecting Fat ass girls and helping them accept their round shapes by banning her game but what they are actually doing, she claimed, is the opposite and are exposing these girls to the scructiny of a society that will condemn them for being over weight and demand that they be properly thin.
Nina Freeman, who complained about her game Last Call, which is about giving a women Irish Sunglasses because she wasn't keeping the house clean or having dinner ready when you got home, said that the game doesn't have any Sex or NSFW images. "It's just about keeping your woman in line. Did I Tag it Wrong?"

Not surprisingly, no one came to his defense and he was fired from Vice Media on July 20, 2025 at 11am EST as he chose to record like an obnoxious gay man mocking the wine choice at a soirée. His articles, that a 12th grade girl failing English could do a better job on during a journalism test were taken down.
Fight Fire With Fire
Fight Fire With Fire is a 4chan campaign to have their Furry porn, "Questionable" age porn, Hentai porn, "Misogynistic" porn, etc returned to sites like Steam, Itch.Io and other storefronts by using their large numbers to Spam payment processers like Visa and Mastercard until they change this current procedure of theirs of refusing to work with websites because of the tags a game, post or site might have.
Their plan is that if Collective Shout can get these games removed with as few as few as 1,000 phone calls, if they can get enough people to mass call Visa and Mastercard's ethics departments on the Saturday and Sunday of July 26 & 27, of 2025 - they can get these companies to reverse their decision to refuse to partner with these sites. They also have plans to spam their email and mass mail complaints to their snail mail address.
4chan's argument is that this is a dangerous step onto the slippery slope of freedom and democracy. They have requested that readers of their 4chan post and Twitter posts to write their Represenatives and Senators because this a clear case of a violation of the First Ammendment and if this is allowed to continue we will all be waiting in a mile long line for a beet and a sheet of toilet paper in our own life times.
Unfortunately what they don't understand is that old ladies and Incels have more sway with companies like Visa and Mastercard because they have higher credit ratings. It's this group that these companies cater their public image, ethics and politics to because it's them that they're making the most money from. Unfortunately, 4chan can call 24 hours a day, seven days a week for a year but they will learn the sad lesson that it is the few that control the many and companies like Visa and Mastercard have already made their decision because they want to look like they respect human rights by refusing to work with websites that market games that show, what others have decided is disrespect to minorities and who the've decided are the easily exploited.
Perhaps when they are in their 60s and still have the fire to protest anti-censorship or haven't gone the way of falling to the right, they can download Triple X Hentai games from the Internets because they have a large enough group to convince Visa and Mastercard, along with the Government, that this is what the public wants.
