These profile pictures consist of a pink equal sign (=) on a red background, and represent the equality of LGBT couples who want to marry and normal people, as well as an opposition to Prop 8 by the person using them. They are used by lazy people who think changing their profile picture to the SAME EXACT THING as every other liberal], gay or social justice "Desktop activist" to "support" a cause can have an effect on society. This is a similar motive to the one used in 2011 to support sitting in a park for three months to stop the jewish bankers on Wall Street from ruining the country.
