August 1st - August 7th of 2009 was an epic week for the internet.

An impostor named Ian Brandon Anderson (IBAChandler) had suddenly appeared on YouTube, accusing the real Chris-chan (CChanSonichuCWC) of stealing his name and pretending to be him.

Two determined individuals, both claiming to be the real Chris, battled it out in an online Singstar competition for the one, true identity of Chris-chan, aka Christian Weston Chandler. Also at stake were the trademark and rights to the Sonichu merchandise, as well as the heart of a very lovely girl named Kacey.

The winner would take all.
