Yep, they think they're 4chan

9gag is a fairly new, shitty rip-off of Memebase, and that is no mean feat. The name seems to be a play on 4chan's name, without realizing that there are other *chans. A place for newfags on the Internet who think that Rage Comics are hilarious and hipsters who think that they are edgy by going here. It gets by though ripping off 4chan memes and passing it off as it's own (As if nothing on /b/ had been ripped off from someplace else in the first place, but I digress...). It is another source of Anti-lulz and the scum infecting 4chan these days. 9fags claim they have no soul, even though it is a proven fact that at least 100% of them never saw the good old Goatse nor any other shock image or video for that matter.

Claim to "Fame"

The reason it has risen to popularity is mainly due to that goddawful Skyrim, and it's mutated offspring, the most forced meme ever created, I used to be X, until I took an arrow to the knee, or just, Arrow to the Knee. Nary a page on 9gag can be found without another soul-withering post involving a nigh-remotely funny joke about it. So next time you lurk /v/ and you see some cancer posting this, chances are he got this shit from here. Failbook is also to blame, since 9fag has a facebook plugin, every failbooker wants to show how funny he is by combining forced memes in a tailored comment in order to get enough likes and become the top commenter. Then they all join in a circle jerk and boast about how funny the website is.

Half-Assed Counter

One day, sick of 9gag's bullshit "memes", some /b/tards crapflooded the site. Needless to say, not much happened, considering they were trying to attack others OTI. However, the raid did accomplish something. The Jew overlords of 9gag made it so that you now must be "registered" to vote on pictures, therby eliminating the last vestiges of anything that make it look like a 4chan clone. Sure, the attack did nothing, but if they could get people to restrict their underlings freedoms in the name of "security", anything is possible.

The Faggotry that Lies within

If you have a facebook account (the only place where You have "friends" ) then chances are pretty high the tumor that is 9gag affected your "friends" . your news feed is a shitload of links to posts there, if you were retarded enough to click any link in hopes of seeing something remotely funny, here is what you should expect instead :

-Chuck Norris joke, because those jokes are fresh & funny & cool, despite the fact that Chuck is a christian fundie that denounced the jokes himself because God almighty is serious business.

-Rage Comic describing a day of the guy who posted it, not funny, totally gay & has a signature, because god forbid anyone else steals the masterpiece.

-tl;dr post about moral faggotry or some guy trying to be smart by using pictures he stole from all over the internets & combined them to rub his ideology or a thought he had in your face.

-Lvl:azn joke, again, a picture or story stolen then mutilated with a signature & a 9gag watermark

-Jewtube comment that is supposedly funny, but instead is full of fail & AIDS

PROTIP : you write a comment on a youtube video, then post it on 9gay as if you accidentally found it & then write "Epic comment is Epic"

-Since most users are raging atheists, expect to see very brilliant swings at religion as well

-a Good Guy Greg without the "lets you fuck him in the ass" variation.

-"Still, a better love story than Twilight" joke, because 9fags realized that cool kids hate Twilight so they try hard to fit in by dissing it.
