As if enough damage has not yet been inflicted to the idea of a “free internet” in mid-2025, the USA government is currently pushing a cyber-law by the name of the “Kids Online Safety Act” (aka the “KOSA”).
This comes hot on the heels of the Fascist Government in the United Kingdom passing their own “Online Safety Act”.
Although the enshittification of the web is an ongoing internets phenomonon, the ‘’’KOSA’’’ will kill internet anonymity, cause massive e-Censorship and basically destroy an open web , likely permanantly…
How To Stop It?
Good question, actually. Some would say that enough citizens of the dis-United States Of America have to get their heads out of their asses first, and “wake up”. If that ever happens the next step would be for Amerifats to contact their elected officials until they get thru to them!
Perhaps it might help to SPAM EVERYWHERE about KOSA, although likely people will just block you or ignore you.
