Blowback (closely related to the Streisand Effect) is the CIA term for the violent, unintended consequences of a covert operation that are suffered by the civil population of the aggressor government. When trolling, blowback occurs when someone commits a public act of internet stupidity in a place they shouldn't be. Personal army requests often result in lulz at the expense of the /r/equester. Leaving your personal info in the exif data of your dad's camera is a great way to gain fame and popularity.
Some Blowback victims
- Alex Wuori - Lulzy personal army failure.
- Balloon Boy - old media troll turns pricey after cops are not amused.
- Ernest Peters - should have just turned in his homework.
- Jake Brahm - don't mess with football.
- Jarrad Willis - found dead. Now that's blowback.
- Jessi Slaughter - the camwhore done goofed.
- Jonathan Gaskins
- Paul Fetch - tried to crown himself King of /b/.
