:We didn't lose ~all~ the histories and talk pages. Myself and others actually created a number of backups/screencaps of dozens of talk pages from the old ED, some of which I've already restored. A lot of the articles that were lost, that I've seen, weren't really all that spectacular either. There were quite a few I had screen caps and saved material from that are simply ~gone~ completely, but it's mostly really off the wall or really lesser known kooks...not exactly the highlights of the site. Like FireGoron's ~multiple~ pages...now he only has ONE and most of the best material has already been restored on it.
